The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients requiring surgical intervention for conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions. The department consists of 12 dental chairs with 20 bedded maxillofacial surgery ward separate for male and female patients, shared with Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Teaching & Research Hospital. Procedures under local anesthesia as well as general anesthesia are conducted with extreme care including:
Extractions
Extractions is used to remove teeth that can be seen and are easily accessible
Craniomaxillofacial Pathology
Achieving oncology margins, and preserving vital structures.
Dental implants
Surgically placed in your jawbone, where they serve as the roots of missing teeth.
Orthognathic surgery
Surgery that helps align your upper jaw (maxilla) and lower jaw (mandible).
Facial Trauma
Facial trauma is an injury to the soft tissue or bones in the face, including your mouth.
Management of malignant
Regular checkups and dental prophylaxis for every four months are highly recommended.
